About This Product

A curated selection of six everyday cooking vegetables sourced from small Midwest farms — everything you need to build a week of dinners without a grocery run. Expect a mix of aromatics and seasonal produce: onions, garlic, carrots, celery, zucchini, peppers, sweet potatoes, or whatever is at peak from our farm partners that week. Grown in real soil without synthetic pesticides, harvested close to delivery, and selected for flavor and versatility.

Best for: soups, stews, stir-fries, roasting, sheet-pan dinners, building flavor bases
Cooks like: varies by vegetable — most benefit from high-heat roasting or slow sweating in fat
Handling: keep refrigerated; most last 5 to 10 days; garlic and onions store at room temperature

Refrigerate immediately upon delivery. Most proteins keep 3–5 days in the fridge or up to 6 months in the freezer. Produce is best used within 5–7 days. See the label for specific guidance.

Iron & Acre partners only with farms that meet our sourcing standards: pasture-raised or free-range animals, no routine antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones, and sustainable land practices. Many of our farms are USDA Certified Organic, Animal Welfare Approved, or Certified Humane — look for the badges on each product.

Unlike grocery store products, everything from Iron & Acre is sourced from farms we've personally visited. No middlemen, no warehouses, no mystery supply chains. Your food is packed the morning of delivery.

We deliver bi-weekly on Thursdays to the North Shore and greater Chicagoland area. Orders must be placed by Sunday 5pm CST. Subscribe to save 10% on every delivery — skip or cancel anytime with no fees.
