🌾 Turning Your Grocery Routine Into a Force for Good

🐄 Groceries for Good
Every Iron & Acre box delivers more than pasture-raised meats and organic-fed eggs — it delivers dignity, nutrition, and care to families in our community.
With Groceries for Good, your membership helps us provide nutrient-dense food to those who need it most. This is about more than food. It’s about equity, access, and reconnection.
🌾 How it Works
-
Step 1: You subscribe
Every Grove, Homestead or Harvest Table plan fuels small farms and makes giving possible.
-
Step 2: We give back
We donate Iron & Acre boxes directly to families in need through partnerships with Northern Illinois Food Bank, mutual aid groups, and other local organizations.
-
Step 3: Real food reaches real people
The food we donate is the same food our members receive: pasture-raised meats and organic-fed eggs — not expired cans or sugar-laden shelf-stable boxes. It’s nourishment, not just calories.
🤝 Our Why
At Iron & Acre, we believe that access to clean, nutrient-dense food should not be a luxury.
🥚 We support animals raised the right way: on pasture, without shortcuts.
🧑🌾 We support farmers who regenerate land and soil.
🍽️ And we believe everyone deserves a seat at the table.
Groceries for Good is how we close the loop — from our farm community to yours.
