This Podcast Nails It.

It’s not ours—but it nailed why we built Iron & Acre.

Meet The Owner:

Why I Started Iron & Acre

After 20 years scaling teams and building systems in the corporate world, I realized something was broken—but not at work. It was at home, in how we fed our family.
We were spending more time and money than ever on groceries… and still coming up short on meals we felt good about.

So I went back to my roots—working on farms as a kid, feeding cattle, hauling hay. That’s where I learned what real food looks like. And that’s where Iron & Acre began.

We’re not here to disrupt food. We’re here to rebuild trust—by partnering with local farms and simplifying how families grocery.

Eat better. Feel better. Support better.
One delivery at a time.

-Pete, Founder

F.A.Q

When do you deliver?

See our delivery calendar here (bi-weekly)

How is the meat packaged?

Each cut is individually vacuum-sealed for maximum freshness and freezer life. Your order is packed in an insulated box with cold packs to keep everything at safe temperatures from our farm to your freezer.

How do you deliver locally?

We personally deliver to select zip codes within your local area on a weekly schedule. You'll receive an email upon checkout with our schedule and we’ll drop it right at your doorstep — no need to be home! If you need modifications from that schedule feel free to reach out directly post sale and we'll be happy to work with you.

Allergen Notice

Our products may come into contact with eggs, dairy, and wheat. If you have a food allergy, please leave a note at checkout—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Sometimes we make substitutions

If something is unavailable, we’ll replace it with a similar or better item—always of equal value. We’ll email you before delivery if any major changes are made.

What are the nutrition facts?

Our pasture-raised beef is naturally higher in omega-3s, vitamin E, and CLAs. You can view USDA-standard nutrition info here. For any specific cuts or macros, just email us—we’re happy to help.

Is the meat frozen?

Yes. All of our meat is flash-frozen at peak freshness. This locks in flavor and nutrition, and ensures your meat arrives in perfect condition, ready for your freezer or fridge.

Can I customize my plan?

Right now, our curated plans are built for convenience and value. But if you have special requests or dietary needs, just shoot us a message before ordering — we're real people and we’re happy to help.

What kind of produce?

Think hearty, seasonal staples: carrots, kale, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, apples. 3–4 items per box, always grown locally.

What's your return policy?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we can’t accept returns. That said, if anything arrives damaged or you’re not completely satisfied, reach out and we’ll make it right. Your satisfaction is our priority.

Where does your beef come from?

All of our beef comes directly from local, family-owned farms — no middlemen. It’s pasture-raised, grass-fed, and grain-finished for incredible flavor, responsibly sourced just a few miles from your doorstep.

Is Iron & Acre sustainable?

We work with farms that prioritize regenerative practices and animal welfare. By sourcing locally and cutting down on transport and packaging waste, we’re reducing our footprint while delivering premium, ethical beef to your door.
