Yukon Gold Potatoes with Garlic Chives

Ingredients
- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup sour cream or milk (optional, for extra creaminess)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook until they are fork‑tender, about 15 minutes. Drain well.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
