Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Honey and Garlic

Ingredients:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Optional: a squeeze of lemon juice or a handful of cooked bacon bits for extra flavor
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper until evenly coated. Spread them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast for 20ā25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sprouts are tender inside and have crispy, browned edges.
